We had wondered what would happen if we caught another spider just like our big black spider. Well, we wonder no more. A day or so after finding a like spider, a bigger one at that, our long time spider friend was devoured by the new big spider. A sad occasion for sure as he had been with us for or nearly two months. Please join me in some slow motion memories of our favorite spider friend. Sure he ended up as a pile of goo and dinner for one of his own, but really, can you go out in a better way? The answer is yes, but some things are out of our control. Just to recap some milestones...we ate three small brown spiders and molted. Really, what more can we say? Now the experiment continues with our new buddy. Isn't he a beauty? Stay tuned for updates.
