Trick-Or-Treat

Pumpkins have been carved, mess cleaned up, seeds roasted, and candy received. We went trick-or-treating in a foreign sub division due to attending a get together. I noticed a lot of people trick-or-treating that were too old to be doing so. You would think they would feel out of place but apparently not. This one couple had to have been in late high school and they went house to house getting candy. When you are older than the person handing out candy it is time to stop trick-or-treating. If you are riding a small motor bike house to house it is time to stop trick-or-treating. Seriously.

Burn Baby Burn

This is a fire pit, but not just any fire pit, this one is mine. Now I can burn things for recreation from the comfort of my backyard. With this city slicker camp fire ring, we can now roast marshmallows or hot dogs or just burn wood for the fun of it. Or maybe coal on occasion if we want to make the neighbors wonder what that smell is since most probably have no idea what burning coal smells like - if we can get our hands on coal. This will make campfires possible when camping in the back yard. Many new horizons will be opened with the addition of this $48.00 (plus tax) masterpiece to our arsenal of outdoor fun. Thank goodness for the warning in the instructions that said the fire pit will be hot. Not sure if I could have figured that one out for myself since it will have FIRE in it.
